JOURNAL - I AM PREGNANT

This illustration was designed as a competition entry for a pregnancy journal cover.

To me, pregnancy and motherhood have always felt like descending beneath the surface-a profound journey into a captivating, uncharted world. Parenthood is very much like that dive: an immersion into deep, beautiful, and unexplored waters.

LEGAL INDUSTRY ILLUSTRATIONS

I created series of law-themed illustrations on commission for an attorney and law firm partner. The drawings were designed as visual content for the client’s social media channels, highlighting the day-to-day realities of legal practice. To bring this to life, I chose the comic format, which captures everyday office stories in a lighthearted, engaging way.

FAMILY SERIES

The comics and illustrations featured here were created over the years in collaboration with my husband, who co-wrote the stories. Together, they form a personal chronicle of our family life. I focus mainly on funny, real-life moments-sometimes gently exaggerated through the comic medium.

The artwork traces our story as it evolved over time: the onset of the pandemic, my emigration, navigating a new relationship, and finally expanding our family. While these are our personal stories, I feel every couple and family can find a piece of themselves in them.

SAMARITÉ

This illustration was created for the Samarité art competition themed "SZEPTUCHA SAMARITÉ - THE WISDOM AND MAGIC OF NATURE." The piece depicts a magical realm of fairies witnessing the birth of a child. It was executed in mixed media, combining fine liners with watercolors.

Here, I present a selection of my artwork from the past few years. You will find portraits, comic strips, birthday comics, children's illustrations, and visual stories capturing my feelings, emotions, and everyday life experiences.

Comics are one of my favorite mediums. They offer a quick, accessible way to comment on stories, events, and facts, as well as express personal perspectives. Through comics, I can illustrate my feelings-emotions, anger, fear, sadness, surprise, joy-while creating something visually compelling that goes beyond verbal boundaries. After all, a comic can often say more than words alone.

You will encounter a variety of real-life moments here, including stories about my cat, who provides endless inspiration every day. I also portray political life, sometimes with satire and sometimes with a touch of melancholy. Because comics, like any form of art, are meant to move us and provoke thought.
