Style and comfort
The apartment is located near Windsor, within a two-story multi-family building. The entire design process was conducted remotely-an online collaboration that brought its own unique challenges, particularly the inability to evaluate physical material and paint samples on site. However, through seamless communication with the client, we created a home that is refined, comfortable, and timelessly elegant.
Upon entering, a long hallway sets the tone, featuring interior doors revitalized in a sophisticated satin black. This simple yet impactful transformation brings depth and character to the space, beautifully offset by warm brass hardware. Carefully positioned directional spotlighting highlights these refined details right from the threshold.
In the kitchen, muted sage green takes center stage, complemented by an exquisite marble countertop and brushed gold accents that echo the hallway's palette. Vertical ceramic subway tiles along the backsplash add delicate texture and visually elongate the walls. The result is a space that pairs understated elegance with everyday practicality, anchored by a generous, functional work surface.
